Kim Steward opened Hineni Homes while working as a nurse at OHSU, caring for patients having lived in the hospital for 6 months or longer.  She wanted to provide a home with skilled caregivers to care for residents on mechanical ventilation.  Now, over 11 years later, we have grown into a rehabilitation-focused home that specializes in weaning, mechanical ventilation, and complex wound care.  Kim and Janet are both recognized advance ventilator management instructors, providing classes for caregivers, family, and state-licensed facilities.
